About Dina Melnychuk

in the San Francisco Bay Area

From a young age, movement has been a central part of my life. I began as a dancer, training and performing in both ballet and folk dance, where I developed a deep appreciation for grace, discipline, and expression through the body. That passion eventually led me to yoga—a practice that felt both familiar and transformative.

 

What began as a physical pursuit quickly evolved into a deeper journey. Yoga offered not only strength and flexibility, but also mental clarity, emotional resilience, and a profound sense of inner stillness. Through consistent practice and study, I discovered the power of mindfulness—learning to observe my thoughts and respond to life with greater intention.

 

As a 500-hour E-RYT yoga teacher, I’m passionate about integrating yoga philosophy into my classes in a way that feels accessible and relevant. I teach vinyasa yoga in both studio settings and independently online, blending dynamic movement, breathwork (pranayama), and meditation. My classes are strong and energizing, but always inclusive—students are encouraged to listen to their bodies, modify as needed, and explore the practice in a way that supports their unique experience.

 

I believe a well-sequenced flow class can be both healing and transformative, helping students cultivate not only physical strength and flexibility, but also clarity, presence, and a deeper connection to themselves—on and off the mat.
